Hidden in the lush green mountains of northern Thailand, 30kms from the Burmese and Lao borders, 458m above sea level, lies Chivit Thammada Mountain Home, a 7 bedroom luxury villa surrounded by pristine forest and with spectacular mountain and lake views.
This is the very north of Thailand and during the winter season the climate is cool and fresh with wonderful starlit nights. Perfect for evening BBQs and night caps in front of the fireplace.
Location
The villa is approximately 45 min drive north of Chiang Rai Airport, perfectly located to explore nearby attractions of Doi Mae Salong, Doi Tung, Tham Luang Cave, Doi Pha Hee, Chang Moob Army outpost and the Burma border town of Mae Sai. The Golden Triangle and historic cities of Chiang Saen and Chiang Khong on the Mekong River bordering Lao are also close by.
The villa consists of two main buildings; the Mountain View Villa has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and sleeps eight adults, the Lake View Villa has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps five adults.
Extra beds can be provided to accommodate a total of sixteen guests. Both villas have fully equipped kitchens, large living rooms and outdoor terraces and all amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
Common areas include an evening lounge with a home theatre sound system, unicorn darts, bar billiards, a 12ft snooker table and table tennis table. Additionally, the 5 rai property houses huge ancient trees, a saltwater swimming pool, mountain view breakfast terrace, a lakeside BBQ area, a fishing pier, an organic vegetable garden, numerous tropical fruit trees and various cozy sitting areas and hammocks spread out throughout the property.

Services and Security. Rates include daily house cleaning and laundry. Maid and gardening staff will be present at the villas during the day and at night a guard will be present at the entrance. Security cameras are mounted outdoors only and not in any rooms.
Food and Drinks. The kitchens are stocked with water, soft drinks, coffee and teas, free of charge. Supermarkets are available in Chiang Rai and nearby Mae Chan and a 7-11 is 5min away in the local village. Upon request, food and drinks can be ready on arrival.

Bars. Both villas have well stocked bars. Menus with prices are available at the kitchen area.
Libraries and games. The villas have a library, a huge DVD collection and various types of board games for Guests entertainment.
Internet. The villas have high speed Wi-Fi, and all TVs are connected to internet.
Netflix and Spotify. Villas have TVs with pre-set up Netflix, YouTube and Spotify. Guests can of course also use their own accounts.
Bluetooth Speakers. Each villa has a JBL speaker.
EV Charger. 22kwh type 2 charger is available at the parking area. Further electrical outlets are also available for guests using their own charger. All charging is free of charge.
Pets. Chivit Thammada is Pet Friendly! Please bring along your pets!
Fishing. There’s plenty of fish in the lake and we have equipment available for you to borrow. Staff can help with bait and advice.
Rowing. Enjoy a lazy afternoon on the lake in our old wooden rowing boat!
Trails. The area has wonderful mountain trails for jogging, walking and mountain biking. Bikes are available for free. Please ask the staff for guidance. Please make sure you bring your phone and plenty of water!
